Sewn Structure Series. Three days and four nights of bookart, collage and text generation culminating in the production of one main project in it’s own slipcase. Set in the most dramatic of Scottish landscapes, there is plenty to inspire.

The course includes all tuition, four night’s accommodation, all food and all basic materials.

‘Sewn Structure Series’

Three days and four nights of bookart, origami and general creating, in the dramatic landscape of Shetland.

Learn brilliant, simple book structures, bound with linen thread – prefect for all kinds of stories – presented in a custom-made slip case. Text generation exercises and other incidental papery treats included.

Three days and four nights of bookart, stitching and general creating, in the dramatic landscape of a remote Scottish island, with entertaining company. You will work on the construction and content of one main book series. Bring a selection of your own papers to personalise your project to complement our stock. Our very own cook will prepare our lunches and dinners, and maybe manage some baking in between binding.
